In my limited understanding of my life and what God wants from me, the one thing I’m sure of is that my choices are deeply involved. Therefore, any person who steps into the realm of influencing my choices should do so with circumspection. This goes double for governments and advertisers. This goes triple for the church. So often, I find my choices to be the most instructive, enriching part of my relationship with God. So it’s logical to me that anyone wanting to take away choices should automatically be questioned. This goes double for governments and advertisers. This goes triple for the church. But when the church and the government get together, it’s time to mash out. To protect my faith.
