This is a cool tool that Ken showed me this morning. It’s very easy and fun.

About the Author

I'm Taylor. This is my classroom. There used to be a "real" teacher behind this blog, but she nagged me all the time about not saying this and not saying that. ~all she ever did was type anyway, since my fingers are stuck together~ So I've taken over.
Yes, I'm an imitation Barbie knock-off doll. What of it? Barbie's got nothing on me! Let me take you to school.
you can also make “motivational” posters…or, shall I say…demotivators…good fun for a disgruntled faculty!
I don’t know if I have the brain cells left…
Here are some other web tools that might be of interest for your teaching interrogation – http://alexanderhayes.wikispaces.com/weboffice
@alexander Thanks! That’s a lot of helpful stuff. I’ve been using audacity for a while, and I love it. It’s super easy, and it was free. I’ve been looking for a way to grab educational youTube videos, since YouTube is blocked @ school, so the VideoDownloader will be helpful.
Looking @ your resume, it seems like you might be able to answer another question:
I’m teaching film criticism this year, and it would be so helpful if there was a place online we could watch films together and make comments or chat. Or, where I could type in captions and observations as I watch, for students to view later. Or for students to be able to do so. Is there such a place? Probably copyright issues are a problem, but I thought it was worth an ask.
There appears to be quite a few options available including (De)motivational posters, LOLCats, Warholizers, Movie Posters, etc.
Nice find.
