you can also make “motivational” posters…or, shall I say…demotivators…good fun for a disgruntled faculty!

@alexander Thanks! That’s a lot of helpful stuff. I’ve been using audacity for a while, and I love it. It’s super easy, and it was free. I’ve been looking for a way to grab educational youTube videos, since YouTube is blocked @ school, so the VideoDownloader will be helpful.
Looking @ your resume, it seems like you might be able to answer another question:
I’m teaching film criticism this year, and it would be so helpful if there was a place online we could watch films together and make comments or chat. Or, where I could type in captions and observations as I watch, for students to view later. Or for students to be able to do so. Is there such a place? Probably copyright issues are a problem, but I thought it was worth an ask.
