My laptop is toast. The battery went dead, and now it says, “Operating System not found.” Scary.
The new battery will arrive today. I hope that does it. If I lost all my data, my eyeballs will fill up with blood and shoot straight out of my head.
I’ve got several posts written in my spiral notebook, though. So, keep your fingers crossed about the laptop, and stay tuned for exciting new posts from Taylor!

Don’t worry…nothing is lost. If your laptop can’t be fixed, just pull the hard drive out, hook it up to another ‘puter via usb, and pull everything off of it.

@sadcox Stupid me….. the screws came out & disappeared the held the hard drive in, so it wasn’t pushed in all the way. Plus, the battery was utterly dead & had to order a new one. Got a 9-cell. Hope it lasts longer.
No data loss! YAY
Let this be a lesson to me to back up more often.

Never read The Stranger. I know, I’m remiss. Maybe if I can figure out what state my books and I will be in this summer, I’ll put it on my list. I do own a copy I picked up for free when a teacher left the school.
But I have to say that Camus needs to step off my bloody eyeball ideas! lol
