When I took this picture of the Christmas gift my husband gave me last year, I was missing him so much. He was working out of town. The reason the bow is lopsided is that he knew I absolutely had to have my gift WRAPPED. And WRAPPED PRETTY. But he’d misunderstood this to mean that HE had to wrap it.
So the lady at the store did one side of the bow, and showed him how to do the other side. The difference is obvious. His is much better.
I’m assuming the readers who care about this little blog will feel the same way.
If I wait to post until everything makes sense in a neat little package w/ a top ten list the diggers will like, I’ll never write anything. This shit is crazy.
So rather than wait for perfection ~or what might pass for it in a given day~ I’m just going to go telegraphic.

But then, I never keep promises, do I?
